Carbon Fiber Gun Wraps – Wait a Second, Did I Hear That Right?
Yes, yes you did. For the first time in the history of Rvinyl we have received customer installation examles of carbon fiber vinyl being installed on a firearm. I, myself, have only shot a gun once in my life at a firing range in Manhattan, so I’m not much of an aficionado and definitely don’t know anything about rifles and guns. Really, all I do know is not to point the business end at anyone I don’t want to kill or maim.
So, What Kind of Gun Is This Anyway?
The gun and scope shown in today’s post is a Ruger 10/22 semiautomatic weapon chambered in a 22 Rifle. It has a detachable ten-round (or five-round) rotating cartridge which means it fits snugly with the end of the stock. A magnum edition, chambered for the .22 WMR container, was created from 1998 to 2007, and a .17 HMR edition, the 10/17 was declared in 2004, but was only detailed in the collection for two decades. The conventional edition has been in development since 1964.
What’s Next? Swords?
Why not? I think it would be really cool to see more novel uses for our carbon fiber and woodgrain films, not to mention our chrome and other metallized vinyl wraps. In fact, I am willing to offer a $30.00 photo rebate for 6 or more installed examples of our vinyl wraps on novel products–a full ten dollars more than our standard photo rebate. Contact me at michael@rvinyl.com for details and happy hunting!
