In 1979 Honda unveiled the Prelude which was its first foray into the realm of sports coupe performance. Until the last generation of the Prelude, from 1997 to 2001, it was a tuner favorite being a high-performer in almost every respect. The draw of the Honda tradition in general and the Prelude in particular was so strong that, according to one study, 75% of all Prelude owners previously owned a Honda or Acura prior to their purchase. Even today, 11 years after it was discontinued, forums are filled with people asking Honda to bring it back.
While we don’t know if that’s ever going to happen we do know that Rvinyl has plenty of products that will help dress up your last gen Prelude and help her last for the next 11 years. We carry vinyl dash kit, precut head, tail and fog light tint kits just to name a few of the Honda auto accessories available. As proof of what we can do for you, we submit to you Joseph’s installation photos of his foglights smoked in Yellow Rtint. In the pictures below Joseph took the step of removing his fog-lights which is not a necessity but definitely helps to insure a perfect installation. In addition to giving us an idea of how he accomplished the job he also showed us that the fogs do take on a yellow tint when lit; always a good thing to know when considering whether to tint the primary lighting. In addition to the fog light photos I’ve also included a slide show of blue tint on a 1997 Prelude (same gen as Joseph’s) for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!
