The Scion brand and the xB in particular are noted in the auto accessory world as being innovators in terms of both performance and style. The beloved “box” or “toaster” configuration has spawned copy cats such as the Nissan Cube but no one else seems to be able to match the quality and pure cool embodied by the 1st and 2nd generations of the xB. In fact, Forbes listed both the xB and the xD in their list of the Toughest Cars for 2012.
As the brand’s buyers age Scion will have to constantly walk the line between staying true to its youthful aesthetics while providing great fuel-economy and unrivaled reliability. SO far though they appear to be hitting nothing but net. As I was researching for this post I cam across a post on a blog that has some incrdible shots of the Scion Hako Coupe COncept, a vehicle which Jack Hollis of Scion acknowledged may be the prototype of future vehciles. Check out their photos here: http://www.lephie.com/scion-hako-coupe-concept-2008/scion-hako-coupe-concept-2008-02/.
And, last but not least, we come to the rebate photos we have received of the interior dash trim kit for the 2008 – 2011 Scion xB. The latest batch were sent in by Erick of his pre-cut 3D CF kit. I have also thrown in some older photos just for different angles although the black carbon fiber seems to be the only thing we sell anymore. Enjoy!
